I reserved a new build home from persimmons homes in april for an october entry.I sold my house within 8 weeks of it going on market in may.The sale of my house fell through in september so we told the builders what would happen to us.They kept telling us "don't worry",but we have kept in touch with them and also been upfront with anything with going on.So 4 weeks ago they started giving us advice and putting us in contact with there financial advisors etc.We eventually got in touch with one of the directors who advised us to go down the " to let" market for our house so we can move into the new build .We stated at the time that the figures wont not add up and that we could not afford to go down that road as we would need extra cash for furniture etc.She told us that they would help us and MAKE the figures add up.So we went down that road and have got a tenant to move in 2 weeks times. We went back to persimmons who have now said "we wont be helping you now" So we have now forked out extra money to rental agent and cant afford to move,so legally what can we do? i know we have signed missives so is it not looking good for us?as we will have to walk away without help
