Free river transport in London

I am taking my grand daughter to London for the day on Wednesday and have been told of free river transport that is displayed on the underground map. One that is accessible using the railcard without any further payment. Does anyone know of this please as I can't find anything on it.

    Only the Woolwich ferry is 5 minutes, and is classed as "free" http://www.tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround/1131.aspx

    the other ones that go up and down river from say Westminster to 02 centre , you have to pay for.

    If for example you were going to get one of the open top bus tours, they are often included on those tickets. However the TFL run one is quite a lot cheaper.

    Most river operators offer a discount of 33% with a travelcard and 50% with a Freedom Pass.
