traveling the world (almost)???

Hi all
Im thinking of doing a bit of traveling - I dont know where!
I just fancy getting out there!

Anyone with suggestions with where to go, what to do -
any good websites for booking flights/places to stay - how much cash do you reakon il need - prob gonna travel for bout 6months-1 year

sorry they quite broad questions, just want a bit of insight!

I may be going alone, not really sure - Im not sure about Thailand, is it safe?!

I think you need to make a few decisions about where you want to go before we can give you too much info.

There is a great book available quite cheaply from 'Rough Guides' which is called 'First time around the world' and will answer all your questions and more.
I found it really useful when contemplating such a trip.
As far as Thailand goes - I believe it is pretty safe. There is loads of great advice on the lonely planet website and https://www.travelfish.org which specialises in SE Asia. Hope this helps.
