God bless you?

:oIf you sell things online and have stuff posted on boards aroounds the internet you may have experienced this already.

1. you post something to sell online

2. someone with unusual grammar contacts you saying they have a buyer intersted in you item and asking for your details to send a cashiers cheque to.

3. They "accidently" send you a cheque which is far higher than the value of the item, sometimes thousands.

4. A surprising amount of people in good faith write a return cheque to reimburse the difference.

5. The cheque they gave you bounces, and your left with a potentially huge debt.

These people prefer sports cars and yachts but they really dont care what the item is as they have no intention of actually buying the item.
I had one trying to buy a cd of me, really a Cd i was selling for £20 :o

very easy tip, God Bless you = Scam
stay lucky!
Steve.
