luggage questions - flying with easyjet

im flying with easyjet to morocco... some questions about luggage..
HAND LUGGAGE:
"one standard piece of hand baggage to maximum dimensions of 55x40x20cm"
no weight restriction, but have to be able to lift it and put it into the compartment...
does this mean i could literally take a suitcase as hand luggage? if this were the measurements: (H)45.5, (W)36, (D)24cm and weighs about 15kg
CHECKED IN LUGGAGE:
"Up to 8 pieces of checked-in hold baggage to a maximum combined weight of 20kg"
all the suitcases i have looked at, have max 80-100 litres capacity
what is that in terms of 20kg? im not sure what size suitcase to buy! im only taking clothes and shoes.

No, 24cm is geater than 20cm.
Look at cases smaller than 80 litres, say about 70lPosts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
