BG DD help
I am with BG, wondering what would happen to my DD amount that I had paid, if my monthly bills (gas and electric) are less than the DD amount they cahrge me, i.e my monthly bills cost £40 a month, BG debit £70 from my bank account, meaning to say I have £30 credit balance in my BG account. Would BG refund whatever balance in my BG account if I cancelled the account or switch to other company?
Thanks

The DD covers the amount for a whole year. In Summer you should build up a big enough credit balance so that when Winter comes you have enough there. You neither want to build up a huge credit or a huge debit so keep an idea of meter readings and watch your consumption so your DD can be as accurate as possible.
If you leave BG your final bill will be calculated. At that point if you are in credit you will be refunded.0
