Can daughter brings her wireless laptop and use it in my home? I have sky broadband and she is on o2 or do I have to set my broadband connection into her laptop. Basically I want to know whether she can take her laptop and connect it anywhere with broadband access? Thanks

Yes because it has nothing to do with your ISP. Your router connects to the ISP and then you can allow or not allow any PC etc. to connect to your router. If using WiFi the encryption key would be required to allow connection. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

If your wireless internet has a password (WEP key) then you will need to know it in order for her to access your connection. If you don't have a password, you ought to get one! Google your router for instructions, or consult the manual.Super geek.0
