it really is getting worse, I am on a LLU 8mb connection and off off peak i'm getting really good speeds, however most of the time i'm below 1mb. Trying to contact the customer service is almost impossible. I hope this is just a glitch.

To answer the OP directly - this happened to me exactly; on your modem is the LINE syncing at 8mb? Mine wasn't and basically the LLU company easynet hadn't actually connected the wires together at the exchange, it meant them going out to the exchange again which took over two weeks - I did get some money back from them, but no really urgency or real apology... just keep onto them, does their geographical number still work (its on say no to 0870)?

their 0870 number is on 'say no to 0870' but when you ring the landline number given it connects ok, but if you choose tech support it just gives a person stating the 0870 number again!(the number you have just rang)
