Need comfortable compter chair but narrow

Sorry not too high tech but thought you guys may be able to help. I need a new chair for my PC and at the moment my 'managers' style chair is good but too wide to go under the table I use. And no I am not looking to get a new wider table.

So the maximum width needed is 550mm and I can't sem to find anything on the usual Staples and so on web sites? Any ideas?

We are also looking out for a 'lightweight' computer chair that does not make a huge visual impact when located in the dining room home office.

Here are the Homebase offerings, not sure if they are comfortable though, perhaps anyone with experience could comment?

    Acrylic Swivel Chair
    Black Mid-Back Gas Lift Chair.

the 2nd one is also avail in Pink and the review claims it fits in small spaces

I've had problems with extremely cheap gas-lift chairs, namely that they snap when you sit on them. I'm not overweight, neither are my co-workers, but we managed to snap 2 gas-lifts that looked exactly the same as that, and were a similar price.

I'd stick to a slightly more expensive one.

Viking Direct sell lots of different ones at a good price, but many are just "cheap" quality. Similarly with Staples.

But if you are going to be sitting at it for long periods, I'd suggest a higher quality chair.

Chairs Direct have some higher quality ones, including orthopaedic rated ones. If you've ever suffered from back pain, you'll know just how important a good chair is!

The Ergo Actives are my favourites, and are incredible comfortable and adjustable, but not really in true MSE style as they are very expensive! Personally I'd never have a cheap chair, backs are too easy to damage for life.
