Condensation on double glazing

Hi
We had double glazing fitted by Everest about a year ago and have noticed that a lot of condensation forms on the inside of the windows (not inbetween the glass) when it is cold outside.
Is this normal or could it be due to the fact my roof is not ventilated (as it is just the upstairs windows).
Many thanks in advance.

you need to increase the ventilation or decrease the inside temp.
also make sure have good ventilation in the bathroom when taking a bath/shower. the water vapour saturates the air, and will condense on cold surfaces.Get some gorm.0 -
as ormus has said, ventilation when bathing showeing etc otherwise the water vapuour will remain in teh air.
Some freidns of mine suffered similarly and even got damp on external walls becuase they showered with the bathroom door open rather than the window slightly open. Also boiled pasta/rice regularly & never opened an windows.
place was like a flippin sauna :rotfl:I am a building surveyor and will provide advice based upon what you tell me. It is just that, advice and not instructions. Based on the fact you're getting it for free expect it to be vague!

Condensation is the responsibility of the occupant and is due to either inadequate heating or ventilation.0
-
It may also be due to other problems such as damp.0

I used to get this when I lived in a damp area, by the sea. I noticed many neighbours also had it.0
