We recently moved into a house that has a Telewest (i.e. Virgin Media) connection going into the living room. Does cable work in the same way as freeview/Sky, where if you get a 'box' you can watch some channels for free?
Just wondering as at the moment we use Freeview but the reception goes weird on channels using 'mux 1' - most of the BBC channels basically, and we don't want to get Sky or FreeSat.
