Money into K Edge - ING ?

Has anybody sent funds into K Edge - ING, with out having to wait weeks before it shows in the account. I pulled some out which took a fortnight, but because I seem to be running out of places to put money with a decent % , I am thinking of putting some back !

I am suprised that you can still do this, I ended my TB's when still KE but wanted to keep them after ING took over, but they said it was too late.

As my cash is in the normal saying part of KE/ING I will transfer them back into a bond. Thanks for pointing this out.

EDIT: I have just transferred it all back into term bonds, this time I put some into a 3 year bond whereas previoulsy it was all in one year bonds

By vanilla ING do you mean your Kaupthing Edge instant access account that has now been taken over by ING?

I am also thinking of transfering some money back to my Kaupthing Edge instant access account but not sure if normal service has been resumed yet.

    Anybody else done this?
    Regards
    erb :)

Fortunately my money was still in the KE instant access savings (after mt TB was closed) so I didn't have to transfer money in, I can't transfer money in now as my other money have been put in a year bond with BM (7.05%).

KE's 3 year bond at 7.67% looks a real stand out bargain now because previously the boe rate had not been cut by 0.5% (with further significant cuts likely)

Sorry, I've played too much Total War :) . By vanilla I meant plain old ING, not KE-ING.

I transferred money into KE early last week and it arrived on time without any problems. Managed to open a 3 year FTD without any problem. Given the outlook for interest rates, I will be putting more in shortly.
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

    Hi

If I select the fixedrate option after logging in, I just get a message saying that my request to open a Fixed Term Deposit has been submitted (didn't enter an amount, term, or anything).

Are they processed manually, or is this another browser peculiarity?

    Thanks
  • Reassuring to see some positive posts on ING. I did'nt touch my KE accounts until after ING stepped in and then only to withdraw a small sum to see if they were working OK. I have part of my money in a ftd and the rest in instant access. I am well below the E100k guarantee and was going to move some more in when the dust settled, but noted a lot of negative vibes around some other threads about "johnny foreigner" and the "passport" scheme.

Has anyone has any problems with transferring money into Kaupthing Edge/ING? I transferred some money from my linked account a week ago and it still hasn't arrived.
