Need advice for my next move

Just got accepted today for ABBEY S(BT) CARD after a wee bit of hassle after applying in branch on friday. They've given me only 4K on this but assuming no cards till now this has gone against me. Bearing in mind £50 per SBT on above card am i right in assuming that if i SBT 4K from my current account to ABBEY i am over limit straight away so do 3.9K or thereabouts(to be ultra-safe). Also,my wife still has 3K option on ISA and cash straight in there,right?? I also opened an ING DIRECT at weekend but understand that rate dropping to 4.5%. Should i put remainder in there or is there any other good easy access anyone can suggest?? Finally, any tips for my next card as i am wary of providers starting to share info and multiple applications to same providers. Sorry for all the questions but i want to get it right from word go so i can chill when all set up. Your advice would be much appreciated

read the T&C, but I believe you can (S)BT your full CL of 4K.

I am not an egg salesman, but after much reading I reckon this is the card to have if you want start stoozing....
