Nationwide - really, really helpful

I knew I was going to go over my overdraft limit, due to dear heart's payday being a little erratic. And I lost my passbook so I couldn't immediately transfer money to savings,

I was really upset.

I applied on line for the extension to the overdraft, which is going to take 48 working hours, and this was on Friday. The screen didn't show any change. So I rang Nationwide who were lovely, really really lovely and helped put my mind at ease, that there was no problem. And, when I went in today they were just lovely, understanding, very helpful. The old book was cancelled, the new one on its way.

As I had tripped over my limit before the extension to my overdraft went through, THEY NOTED TO CANCEL OVERDRAFT CHARGES - BEFORE I ASKED!!!! Sorry, but I felt I had to shout. But I didn't even realise it was possible to ask them to do that. They were so lovely.

In the past they have SUGGESTED THAT I DIDN'T TAKE OUT PPI Sorry again for the shouting, but it is just amazing.

I cannot say how helpful and nice they are. Even to silly old biddies like me. There are always so many complaints and grumbles, so I thought that I should write something pleasant, and I cannot recommend them enough.
