Hi all,
We've adopted my neighbours two rabbits today:D and I am trying to find things to entertain them with. My neighbour gave me a run with a hutch on top, which we will use in the day. We bought another hutch for night times. Toy wise I've filled a plant pot with hay and hidden carrot pieces in it. they've got a cardboard tube for rabbits to run through and chew. I've bought some chew treats, but was just looking for some other ideas on what to supply them with to give them more variety.
They're only young and as soon as our garden is bunny proof they can have supervised big runs. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Plastic keys - hard plastic baby toys - can be hung from cage
Piece of Untreated wood for chewing
Cardboard toilet paper, paper towel rolls
Dried branches or twigs from fruit trees
Pinecones that are dry and free from sap most rabbits chew them, many bunnies enjoy picking them up and tossing them about.
Cardboard boxes will be fun for your rabbit to crawl into
Wooden spoons
pieces of old towels, facecloths or blankets .... rabbits like to bunch cloth up, knead it, and drag it to a new spot. Pick up one end of the cloth, and some rabbits will play tug-of-war with you. If your rabbit starts to chew through the cloth and eat it, though, best take it away. Cloth might harm a rabbit's digestion.
stuffed toys
empty wooden thread spools
plastic coffee jar lids
shredded paper is great for your bunny to burrow in
a toilet paper roll stuffed with hay
paper bags
paper (crinkled; no ink)
baby rattles hung up in cage
small plastic shaker jar .. put lentils and couscous inside- so that way it doesn't matter if he eats it or not...
Make sure all the toys are clean and not small enough to be swallowed
Remember it's not just dogs & cats that need help
Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, ferrets and birds all need to be
treated with special care when fireworks are being let off.

Hello!!
Fun games are good as well as toys spread about!
Carrot games - Make a obstical course using carrots to motivate the rabbits to go through the course..
Hang washing tablets bags up high and make sure you secrure them! to the hutch and add carrots/lettuce in there , this will encourage them to stretch to get it!
A old shoe or slipper filled with yummy treats!
Get a box fill with smelly tasty treats and seal , they will have fun chewing the box to retreive the 'goods'
dog pully toys are encouraging for them! as are some cats toys
Hope that helps!
