ummmmmm, i think that just goes to show that you can find any opinion you care to on the internet. At least the oil peakists have some mathematicians and geologists with academic studies on their side, you're linking to a bunch of Fortean Times readers.

Wasn't this the guy who was featured as the 'bad guy' in the Food Price Dispatches programme - pushing the price of goods up through speculation alone, yet proudly proclaiming "Today I am making Money!"?

Watching it now and finding it hard to take him seriously, given his (almost as risky?) approach to investment?

Er yes. He runs the Eclectica Agriculture fund and i guess his role is to make money for his clients, Not sure if he was featured as the bad guy tho.
