constant debt worries !!!!

just want to find out how everyone gets those debt blues/worries out of their head, mine constantly nag at me, and always thinking about how i can scrimp, save etc, probably at the expense of getting on with life.
Surely its best to clear your head of the problems, as long as you have adknowledged them and are sorting them, then should be easier to progress in other aspects of life, and hopefully get some opportunities along the way to pay off more ie better job, change of lifestyle etc.
anyone got any advice on this, have you done this and then found things falling into place and sorting themselves out easier??

I have a little experience of debt and how much it can worry you. I tried to tell myself that worrying about things only make your thought processes harder, which doesnt help.
Didnt listen to myself sometimes though!
Sometimes things will just be....and worrying about them will not change them. If your doing your very best...you can do no more.0 -
tricky...try and keep everything in perspective and do all that you can...you can do no more.
there are worse things that can happen in life. For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -
Your not going to stop worrying and if you try too hard to stop... you will explode.... better to accept your going to worry live with it and in time without forcing yourself you will worry less
its a bit like letting a flash gun off in your eyes you see the light spots and if you keep looking at them...... you still wont be able to say when they went ...... they just did and worry is like that.
there are a few who can go to bed and get a full night sleep with say 10k of debt but not many
so chin up
and dont beat yourself up the debt will go and so will the worry In London, you're never more than 20 feet away from someone telling you you're never more than 20 feet from a rat .0 -
Alot of debt worries can be attached to how the creditor / DCA is treating you.anyone got any advice on this, have you done this and then found things falling into place and sorting themselves out easier??
Some of them like to bully / intimidate with their letters / phone calls this will play a major part within someones life.

good point....when the bad stuff is flying, places like this are so important.

When I first got into debt, I like many other's had sleepless nights, the constant phone calls / threatening letters, almost created a nervous breakdown with the intimidation, however, having done some research I found out what creditors / DCAs can and CANNOT get away with, I’ve been left alone now for almost 12 months, the most important part is knowing what they can and cannot do.good point....when the bad stuff is flying, places like this are so important.

If you threaten them with any action, i.e. FSO / TS / OFT and they refuse to back off, YOU MUST FOLLOW THAT THREAT THROUGH.
We can bully / intimidate them as much as they like to bully / intimidate us

I find I think about my debt every day, even though its under control on a DMP. I'm constantly trying to think of ways to cust costs, make money etc. But I'm finding this is helping me in a positive way. I realise now how wasteful I used to be and how completely addicted to spending I was! I now think twice abot buying anything!

I would recommend to learn about a certain antique/collectable. There are loads of bargains to be had at car boot sales and charity shops. I taught myself about antique glass and one of my top finds was at a charity shop, it was a rare Georgian colour twist wine glass that cost me £2 which I sold for £2500.I don't have a ladder in my tights, I have a stairway to heaven.0
