Acer Aspire 3630 help please

I have an acer aspire 3630 - does anyone know if it has infrared on it???? I have no idea how to find out and the help page thing said check the bios :eek:

    To access the Bios press F2 when the laptop is booting up and check that the infrared port is enabled.

    I don't know for sure that it has an infrared port but if the manual is telling you to check the bios then it sounds like it does

    Can you see an InfraRed port anywhere? It should be visible.

    It will be a rectangular window, red in colour. Usually situated on the side as you'll generally need to line the port up with your intended transmitter/receiver.

    no I dont then - i have the wireless thing in the front and next to that is the bluetooth that when you push it, displays 'no device' on the screen and then next to that is a funny tuning fork type symbol and a cover that looks like it can be removed to fit an additional bit inside the laptop - that might be it....oh well never mind - thanks so much Donnie for your help :)
