Okay, I am not a moron I would like to think but I cannot find where the hell to uninstall IE7, I want to reinstall IE6 for a while as there is a particular site which doesn't like IE7 and refuses to work

So, enlighten me, how do I uninstall IE7, I don't think Vista wants me to...

  • Hmmm I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure IE7 has always been integrated into Vista..at least I can't ever remember using IE6 since XP days.

It may be better to try and work out why the site doesn't display in IE7...could it be a Flash or Java issue maybe?

Or just install Firefox and see if the site opens in that, always good to have more than 1 browser anyway.

Forgot to ask: what's the site by the way? I'll see if I encounter any errors as am using IE7.

Sorry yeah, IE6 has never been with Vista, but the same happens in Firefox.

The thing is, the website works, then it doesn't work. But going downstairs on my old XP machine it works no problem. :(

Seriously it is driving me insane!

Only Firefox and the same happens, works for two mins then doesn't want to know.

If it was a java or flash problem then it wouldn't work at all ever right?

EDIT: Just installing Opera for as a 4th browser test.

then other sites say you cant remove IE 7 as its an integral part of vista
  • Why would you want too, it's fundamentally integral to Windows

Don't like it, don't use it.
