Tom Tom Problem, any ideas?

in Techie Stuff
i switched my tom tom on today and it just came up with a blue screen, it won't do anything. it hasn't been dropped. does anyone one have any ideas as to weither this is broken or is it a problem that can be sorted. many thanks.

TomTom have made lots of different models over the last few years, and how they work has changed a lot in that time.
However, most of the recent models should have a small "reset" button behind a hole in the casing which should do the trick.
IIRC you can download the user manual for your model (if recent) from their website and it should tell you where the reset button hole is.0 -

If the reset doesn't work you can firstly try removing and re inserting the SD card. Did you create a back up?? If tyou did and if the first option doesn't work you can then try formating the card and then using the backup you created to put back on the card.0
