Compared with my intake of 3000mg of EPA+DHA your 100mg does seem somewhat limited. If you need 30lb tyre pressure and you add a tenth of 1lb would it make much difference.
You cannot take more than the recommended amount of these because of the vitamin A and E content you would be overdosing and I haven't researched these as fully as I would like to be able to comment.
Consider also that you use 4000iu of Vitamin D daily, your imput through these tablets is 200iu. I take ten Vitamin D 400iu roughly 20 times the amount you are getting.
My total cost is 33p daily because I use 13p of Zipvit Omega Juice and 20p of Healthydirect vitamin D bought through Quidco but by taking an amount roughly equivalent to what I actually use during the day I feel my money is better spent than yours but that is my personal opinion and not medical or financial advice. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

ive recently bought 800 tablets. At 4 per day why !!!!!! around with 1 tub at a time? A gram a day seems a good achieveable target to shoot for.
Sports and diet supplements is my thing..;o)
Also, as we now have very different lifestyles than those that the origional RDA levels were based on (mid 20th century), our nutritional demands differ somewhat (Not a masive amount but they differ). I personally see no problem with under/over dosing withing reason, applying common sense and research from reputable sources.0 -
people consume at least 2% of their total daily calories as omega-3 fats. To meet this recommendation, a person consuming 2000 calories per day should eat sufficient omega-3-rich foods to provide at least 4 grams of omega-3 fatty acids.
You do have to be a bit careful about comparing like with like with Omega3 capsules. What matters is the EPA + DHA TOTAL.
