Hi there
Having some probs with my wireless connection. It's been recommended that under Settings - Network Connections I should select the option "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings". However, I select this and every time I switch the PC back on it unticks this option. How do I set it so it remembers?!?
Thanks!

Do you have any software provided by your PC, laptop or wireless card manufacturer installed that could be managing the wireless connection instead? Which version of Windows are you using?0

Using XP SP3. We have a micronet USB dongle for which there's a program called "Micronet SP907GK Wireless Network Utility" on our PC. Do I have to uninstall this? I assumed that ticking the Windows option would have meant I didn't need to. Also, I don't have any CD or anything with the dongle so once I get rid of it... that's it.0

To uninstall it you would need to ensure you have uninstalled the application but kept the drivers (there are loads of google results for the drivers for that device).

If you are using Windows to configure the network, you don't need the Micronet application. If the Micronet application which came with the device works okay, use that instead.0
