Is anyone else on the easyjet 'fraud list'?

I have tried to book 2 flights with easyjet now, one over the summer, and one now, using different cards both times, and both times the money have been refunded due to 'fraud'??
Am I on some kind of fraud list? It's bizarre - the flights are in my name, booked with a card in my name, and not just a credit card, but debit card too.
And now my dads card was also refunded by easyjet due to 'fraud'. As far as I know, no fraudulent activity has been registered against my name or my address.
Has anyone else had this? I really do hate easyjet with a passion since the last palava over the summer when easyjet cancelled my flights and refused to refund me since my card was marked as fraudulent, but everyone seems to want to use them, so I have to go along - the only problem is the only way I can get on these flights is by paying cash. Is there anyway I can be taken off their fake 'red alert' list, as its causing me no end of hassle!
Also, am I (and my dad) the only one to have this?

What did Easyjet say when you spoke to them about it?0

Nothing :S They can't tell me anything, just that my bank may have advised them that theres been fraudulent activity on my card, which isn't true as my bank didn't know what was going on.
Maybe I will write to them asking them to explain, but they will probably fob me off as they have done on the phone

Personally I would contact the card issuer and ask if the card has been marked as the result of any suspect transactions. If they say no, I would ask them if they could contact Ryanair as they are refusing your card because they believe the issuer has marked the card a 'fraud'. As they will be loosing business by you not being abe to use the card then they may well do this for you. If they are no co-operative (wont phone) the I woulkd write the the 'Compliance Officer (Data Protection Act)' at Easyjets head office asking for full details of everthing they hold about you, which now also includes paper records. They are required by law to provide this. Something in their records may give you an idea why they are refusing.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

Send off for a copy of your Experian/Equifax credit report to see if there are any CIFAS entries.
For Experian you can use this link to get your report online for £2 without going through all the Credit Expert sign up programme guff:

I think I will see if I can get my card companies to resolve this, if not, will try the 2 things mentioned above! Thanks, this is very helpful! We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

I had a similar problem, and the credit card company would not help directly, but said I need to contact Experian to get the explanation.
Its a bit annoying that a private company receives information on you (at times false) and ou have to pay to find out. I did, and it turned out someone had ordered some commercial catering equipment and used my address to try and get it.0 -
I work for a bank and they will be able to tell you why the card payment was not authorised. Cards are refused for a variety of reasons but I have never heard of the 'fraudulent use' one. The card issuer will have the information and will be able to tell you this. Good Luck.0
