I have just been to Morrisons and was looking at the frozen turkeys. Bernard Matthews large frozen ready basted turkeys were £41 !!!!!!! Smaller ones were between £30 and £40!! Is this the Christmas price?

Probably a pre-Christmas-reduction price (OK - call me cynical, but I always think the "actual" prices of turkeys are a bit too high!)

Give it a couple of weeks, and the 'offers' will be on, don't buy them at that price

They are legally obliged to have sold items at a certain price in some stores before they can go on offer. Asda are terrible for this Pasta for instance will be 60p, it will then rise in price for a couple of weeks to 80p. After this they will roll the price back to 62p and you are meant to think that you have gotten a bargain.

Sainsburys are the same price £40 and £30 i work there and we noticed the price the other week said to hubby when i got home that we were not having a turkey this christmas if that was the price.

I saw a tesco finest turkey on offer in my local store for £21 half price from £42, might be in other branches as well
