Cancelled flights Birmingham - Ryanair

Ryanair have cancelled a number of flights from Birmingham over half term, and my flight to Murcia was amongst them. I received the notification but the e-mail was ambiguous and appeared to me that the whole itinerary had been cancelled (I was due to return on the 4th November).
A couple of weeks later I received a refund notice, but it wasn't for the full amount of the flights. I replied to the refund email to question the amount, and also send two faxes through to the Refund department. So far I have not had a response.
After some difficulties I have finally managed to get on to my booking info on the web site, and the return flight is still listed as being active.
If I can't get there then how can I get back!? I will try to contact the reservations number on Monday.
Can anyone give me any advice. Thanks

Send them a fax telling them you will be pursuing your loss through the Small Claims Court.0

The problem is they don't do "return" tickets.
You bought two separate flights. They have cancelled only one, for which it seems they are refunding you.
You have no case against them to take to the SCC - they do advise you to take out insurance against possible situations like this occurring in the ts + cs which you will have accepted.
Maybe better to appeal to them over this, rather than taking the advice from GH (above) which will only harden their hearts towards you if you follow it!0 -

Thanks to Quentin, just pleaded with a very nice lady on the reservations number and they have agreed to refund the full amount, perhaps they are not as bad as all that after all!0
