Wescot Final Notice

Earlier in the week i sent off a letter to Wescot asking if they will accept a pro-rata offer as payment on the debt (Tesco CC/RBOS). I included a budget sheet as well.

Today i have received a Final Notice demanding i pay the outstanding amount by 5th Nov, or a 'Claim Form/Summons may be lodged with Hull County Court', and the've then added £135 legal expenses to the debt amount.

Is my next step to request the CCC? I have had the credit card for a couple of years.

Thanks

It's a standard letter of Wescot's. If you've sent a pro-rata offer justified by a financial statement, they'll probably accept that - give them two weeks from when you sent it for them to respond.

In the unlikely event of a court claim, you already have the figures to justify an offer though the courts.

How much did you offer per month?
