    I wouldnt mind either, birmingham or wolverhampton
  • Cheapest by train i could find as its quite near the time of travel is;

    For outward travel two tickets are required and change of train;
    Wolverhampton to Manchester Pic 10th 11:06 £10:50 Advance Ticket
    Manchester Pic to Edinburgh Waverly 10th 13:45 £18:50 Advance Ticket

    Edinburgh Waverly to Wolverhampton 12th 10:51 £26 Advance Ticket

    Total £55 return

    Book early these tickets won't be available for long

    Coach might be cheaper?

    Livingthedream, Thanks a lot !!
    Do you have the link to that , please?

    I was hoping to maybe find a package "holiday" with a small excursion of the city, as I've never been. But will keep on looking.
    Thanks again!
