There have been vet practices (Companion Care) in some (think it's about 30-40 now) Pets at Home stores since 1995 ;)

Petsmart never had veterinary practices in them. They were bought out by Pets at Home about 10 years ago.

Our local Pets & Home often has vouchers or special offers like free Kennel Cough vaccines. A few people I know who use them say they are cheaper and they get a really good service. But I suppose that depends of the Vet!

We're registered with the vets at Pets at Home too. The vets and staff are lovely and polite - great with my dog. If I've needed them in an emergency they're always there. Plus you get back to buy dog food, snacks etc whilst you're in there!!! Bit embarrassing when your dog tries to pee on a display tho :o

I too have never seen a P@H with a vets in it.I have been to a number of different stores over the years and never seen it!

My local one now has a 'rescue centre' for small pets. Heartbreaking because I so wanted to bring home the 3 baby rats that were in there! You do the same thing as if you were buying a pet from them except it goes to a rescue charity...not usre which. May have to go and give something a loving home when I get back from hols!!
