Upgrading Paypal account

Hi there, I've just sold some things on ebay for the first time and received some instant payments which I can't claim on my personal account.

Just wondering if you get charged on a business account for receiving payments from the likes of Quidco, Gozing surveys etc.? If so, is it easy to change back to a personal account after upgrading and collecting the payments for my ebay items?

yes you get charged for every transaction you receive on a business account even if it is a balance/from a bank account.
paypal will only allow a change back from a business one to a personal one ONCE !
i have access to 2 mine which is a business one and my partner's one which is a basic one so try and save money on the fees which on a small transaction is quite a lot

Firstly if you ticked the I accept paypal box on your auction then you must accept the payment you have received. In future if you want to remain with a basic account you cannot choose the I accept paypal option, but just mention in the body of your auction that you can accept paypal but only if funded via an existing paypal transfer.

As rainee says once you have a premier account you will be charged for every payment you receive, however funded.

However, you are allowed more than one paypal account as long as you have different email and bank details with each. So I have a premier account for buying and selling on ebay, but a basic account to receive my payments from Rpoints and Quidco.
