Please help me charge my laptop.

Evening all.

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-N11S laptop.
I have only the part of the charger that fits the laptop, and the power adapter part. not the plug that goes into the wall bit.

I have tried using the same, clover style plug bit from 2 other notebooks, but to no avail. they fit in and all, but the LED on the Vaio AC pack stays unlit.

1: Could this be because the input from both surrogate plugs is 250V and the AC pack calls for 200-240V.

2: Do I need to but a whole new power adapter for this model (Where do I get one) or, will simple a new, lower rated clover style plug need fulfil my wishes? (Where could I aquire the correct parts?)

I need this laptop to charge/work ASAP

Any help most gratefully appreciated.
