This was mentioned during the "Today" program this morning.
The suggestion was that Woolies were introducing a number of loss leaders and removing the 3 for 2, to get more people in store.
Couldn't find anything on the website but perhaps tomorrow is when the new offers appear.

they do have a few new half price deals
the serafina cat to barbie prince and the pauper is half price , if you click through a few pages then look at the links on the side one of them says up to half price toys.

Thanks for posting this! I ordered a Serafina from them online for £40 and it was delivered last week - checked the website and it says you can return them to any store within 28 days for a full refund! So will be taking full price one back for a refund and then promptly buying one for half price!

just had a hand delivered leaflet through door saying


"an extra 10% off marked price wednesday 1st December open 8am - 8pm also available at woolworths.co.uk

so if 3 for 2 is on still that's even cheaper.

10% is nothing new at Woolies - theyve had 2 10% days in the last month I'd have xpected a bit more than this.
