According to the headline article in todays Daily Mail Woolworths will be making an aggressive move on Tuesday cutting prices by up to 30% across many products. Apparently, details will be kept quiet until the last moment so that their competitors are kept in the dark.

It doesn't actually say in the article but the headline was discussing the poor performance of shops in the high street, so more likely instore although I have noticed with Woolies that online prices often mirror instore prices.

it amazes me the people buying stuff at boots after xmas in the 'sale' thinking its cheaper than before xmas!money saving my @rse.

I guess even if they do launch this after the 3 for 2 then it's no different do the saving that could be made on the 3 for 2. I saved a third by making sure i brought 3 gifts of the same value ... twice! saved £20.00-thanks woolies!
As for online, the goods instore and online do vary so beware .. I wanted to order a rubix cube during the 'free delivery' period as part of my 3 gifts but it was not available to order even though the picture is there and it says add to basket. After e-mailing and ringing them i got nowhere so had to venture out to the shops after all. >:(
