Cleaning plasma screens?

Hi

I am sure this must have been posted somewhere but I cannot find it in the search engine.

Can you tell me the best way to clean a plasma screen, both on a lap top and PC - can you recommend any products or wipes that will not damage it?

Many thanks. :xmassign:

I clean ours with either a fabric conditioner sheet or one of those Pledge disposable cloths

I was just looking on the net to see if I was cleaning it in the correct way and found THIS. A soft dry cloth seems to be the correct method.

I like the bit that says "Dropping the TV or forceful impact on the screen surface may cause the TV screen to break"........no! never!  :rotfl:

  • Tesco's do a microfibre cloth for 99p, this is all you'll ever need to clean your plasma screen, plus lots of other things as well.

A slight spray of water on the cloth and it does a great job, much better than some expensive cleaning clothes.

    Johny,

So it can be damp, just not wet! Thanks very much for that - I was getting into a panic about it :snow_laug - also I am going to Tesco tonight.
