What time will it be in Spain?

We have just been told by Globespan that they have put our flight back to Malaga from 2.15p.m. tomorrow until 12.30 a.m. Sunday(We are obviously delighted!)

We have a hire car to pick up in Malaga and we have been told that we will arrive at 3.40 a.m., If(and its a bif IF) the hire company will have someone wait for us can anyone tell me what time it will be in Malaga?

Globespan tell me that it is 3.40 a.m. local time, but I do not know if their clocks go back, too!

If no-one will wait for us from the hire company, we will have to wait until 8.a.m. to pick up the car

Good old Globespan!

(And, of course, we still have to get back, you certainly take your chances with this lot!)

I would be grarteful for an early reply.

Thanks

Colmil.

The Spanish put their clocks back this weekend also, so at the worst they will be 1hr ahead of us.

That said, the only important question is whether or not the Car Hire facility will be open or not, and that's one for the car hire company themselves ..... So call them or do an internet search on the Car Hire companies office in Malaga. :)

Console yourself that the plane landing at Malaga will be a lot less hair-rasing than the one in Gibraltar....take a look at the runway when you're there...one of the shortest in the world, pretty hair-raising to fly into.

Globespan have been operating for the last 30 years, oil costs have halved in the last week, so fingers crossed our old favourites will make it through! They are a great airline for those of us who live in Scotland, lots of flights go direct from Scotland, it would be a sad loss if they folded.

ps Can I hijack your thread and ask which company in Malaga you're getting your car hire from? We're looking for car hire from AGP for December.

Best Wishes to your DD and her itnended, Gibraltar is al ovely place, stock up on duty free when you're there- the prices really are duty free, not just VAT free!!:money:

The car hire is through https://www.economycarhire.com they use two reputable companies in Malaga and its apparently cheaper booking this way than direct with the companies themslves.

    Hope this helps you.
