Barclays International Regular Saver

Barclays are offering a regular savings account which lets you pay up to GBP2000 a month for one year at 10 per cent. However it is offshore and based in Jersey. Any thoughts on what compensation scheme it would be covered by?

Lat month I started paying £2,000 a month into a regular saver with Halifax International, obviously there is some risk, but I believe it is worth the risk for the extra interest (fingers crossed)0 -

Are you aware there's £50K protection now?...Lat month I started paying £2,000 a month into a regular saver with Halifax International, obviously there is some risk, but I believe it is worth the risk for the extra interest (fingers crossed)

No I didn't know, thanks that was handly to know, I will certainly keep up the 2k payments until the end now (as you can drop them to £100 if you want)0 -
