Cheapest way from Norwich to Birmingham
I need to get Norwich to Wolverhampton/Birmingham leaving on the 28th to attend a funeral.
I only need to travel one way.
I've check the trains and came up with £64 :eek:. I slight play on stations i.e going via london reduces that to around £37+
Is there a cheaper way? Or is there a site that searches for cheap trainfares or alternative routes?
I'm unemployed thats the only reason i'm asking, other i stump up the cash with no question due to the occasion.

Try this;
Norwich to London Liverpool St 11:30 £12 Advance Ticket
London Marylebone to Birmingham Snow Hill 13:50 £10 Advance Ticket
you will also need to get an Underground ticket
These are advance tickets so buy them early before they go:jWhoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -
EXcel X1 coach service to Peterborough is about £6.50 and a regular 1/2 hourly service not taking too much longer than the train- Not sure about onward travel from there though.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!
