A tin opener that works for more than a few weeks

If you still have it, put it flat on the top of a tin. It cuts the whole of the top off, including the raised edge. Old type metal tin openers you use side on, & cut the top off inside that raised edge. HTH

I have a cheap one from Tesco or Asda maybe 10 years old still going strong. My Grandma had one of the really old fashioned one's that no-one else could use, she had it for about 70 years and in spite of arthritic hands she could still open a tin with it aged 89.
I guess the cheap and simple ones are the best in my opinion.0 -
