Stopped in at GAP tonight (Edinburgh store) they had a large variety of mens jeans reduced from £55 and £45 to £14.99 and seemed to have most sizes in stock. Also some decent jackets, shirts and tops at around half price.

The cashmere wraps have been reduced from £139 to £80 - bargain.

If any of you guys still have a winter pass - use it to get an extra 15% off if you spend over £50.
    Nice to save.
  • bit of a con i think...if everyone paid the full price for items intending that it will be reduced within 14 days then there would be none left for the sales!! therefore there is no need to reduce price as no stock to reduce!! smart marketing but the advantage is to the retailer...not the customer!!

I do stand to be corrected...will all items be reduced wether in stock or not?

I've used this feature occasionally in the past. I find it's useful when you're buying in popular sizes that sell out quickly as you can go back when they only have the most giant or minute sizes left and have reduced them to £3.99 or similar and claim your refund. I've never had any problems with Gap staff sticking to the policy (which is printed on the back of your receipt) very cheerfully and quickly. I guess a true money saver would go back with their receipt on the fourteenth day and get them to check every item - I've only ever done it for an item I've spotted further reduced in store when I've gone in to exchange or return something else on the same receipt.

They gave me a merchandise voucher when I took some things back the other day, does anyone know how long they are valid for and if you can use them in any store?

    Hi,

Just came back from GAP - they have reduced Mens sweaters from £39.50 down to £3.49. Various t-shirts - Mens and Womens down to £2.99. Bras from £22 down to £2.47 and underwear is down to £0.49p each.

Lots still available at the Bond Street branch (near Selfridges).

They have jeans (1969 range) down to £8.

I could go on but have to get back to work.

    I hope this helps someone.
