I cant remember the details but you have to call a number or go in store with your reciept and they refund the difference. Unfortunatly, often you will forget all about it and lose reciepts etc.

I work for Gap and we DO NOT not take back worn clothes unless there is a genuine fault with the item, you are right about the sale if an item has been reduced further within 14days of receipt then they will refund the difference.

Anniee1981 - Can I ask you when Gap will be having their proper sale. Things like childrens winter coats. There is not much reduced at my local Gap at the moment

i too would love to know when the proper sale starts/ Got a beautiful wool coat from there one year reduced to £20 from £65. Got my eye on a few items in at the moment too.

Laura Ashley also have the same deal on their store card. Buy before their sale and get any money reductions back. Quite good T & C s if I remember right.

Bootman they have already reduced their childrens coats. I've just bought my son an amazing padded eiderdown jacket for bargain price of £38.

My local store still had these marked at full price today. Mind you hold onto your receipt as last year I bought one just like that when they reduced them right down to 12.99
