Am I too late to plant spring cabbage?
Forgot to plant out my spring cabbage:o . Am I too late? can I start it off in the greenhouse(plastic tent style) or will I just bung it out and see what happens?

I'm putting mine in this weekend.
I think last years didn't go in until November. I guess it depends on how far north you are. My allotment's quite sheltered so I think I can get away with it. Just.0 -

Like someone else has said try and see.
Really they need to put on some growth before the daylight hours are reduced. However we would only need a few weeks of mild weather and they would put on some good growth.
You could still plant winter onion sets and garlic, winter spring onionsKind Regards
