CTB change of circumstance question help

Posting for my friend who was on high motability DLA, middle care DLA and long term IB (which was slightly reduced each week because of occupational pension)

When re applying for her DLA in May, she was awarded high rate care DLA getting more money a month plus the incapacity benefit went up to full weekly rate as the occupational pension is not taken into consideration when you are on high care rate DLA

How will this affect her CTB ? Will she be due more now that her income is up when they work out her benefit ? It's so confusing on the CT form with disregarded income etc.

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks in advance :)

DLA isn't taken into account when working out how much income you have -- though if you get it you often get enhanced rates of other benefits as well.

However, the increase in her IB could mean she gets less from other means tested allowances as she now has more income that does count.
