  • yes i did resist, so proud of myself, i found myself pretending a pen was a cig (took the ink out of it)

havent been completly honest on here as ive been really embarrassed to say but i am in a bad cycle with them pay day loans. I have just worked it out in my budget that i will be completly rid of them by March, yes its 4 months away but reducing them month by month, so feeling really happy today and havent thought of cigs once!!!

when I got divorced i took my wedding, engagement ring and eternity ring off and put them in a draw..Shortly afterwards when the kids needed new shoes and i had no money i took the lot to a jewellers and sold them for enough to cover school shoes and trainers plus enough to pay the mortgage for the next month. I never regretted it as needs must and funnily enough it was like the chains were finally off and i could move on with my life.

Sell the bracelet and put the cash to good use.
  • i have just spent the last 2 hours doing a monthly budget for the whole of 2009, giving myself 40 a week free spends (which i wont need as living on £5 at the moment) but can overpay with whats left over. If i stick to the budget 1 credit card will be paid and only owe £400 by Dec 09, all that i will have left is my loan (by dec 09) £2217.15 and my car HP (£1513) oh and the blasted overdraft :-( £1250, I start my new job on Monday, not sure what the salary is yet but its more than my current one but i havent included that in my spreadsheet so whatever i earn extra will be going straight to the debts, i think the £400 could be wiped out. I can now see a very thin light at the end of the tunnel, i was getting so excited working out the figures!! i need a hobby lol
