Visit Hampi ( the train ride is a buzz) get your teeth fixed (gums lifted 20 crowns and 2 bridges for £1800 all fine and dandy 18 months on your eyesight tested and new bifocals which darken with the sun (i forget the official term). a complete and i mean complete medical check up (MOT) for between £50 - £100 i forget the priceUnfortunately even goa can't do anything for memory loss :D and eat at as many of the fine restaurants as you can. If in North Goa get a taxi to beaches such as Arambol, Mandrem Ashvem even little Vagator, watch premier league football and Champions League at 2 am.I'm off again this year this time for 10 weeks its cheaper to live there than here (I'm a landscape gardener so hell who wants to scrabble for work in the middle of winter).

Very interesting info there, can you explain what you mean by 'Gums lifting' , How about cosmetic surgery, I bet thats quite cheap there too, Hmmm, dont know if I would have the courage to get it done (if I was thinking of it) ;) anywhere but the UK.

    Definately food for thought.

Forget Candlim and Calangute go to Palolem!!!! Its Paradise 1000 rupees (about £12-£15) for taxi down there. Stay in a coconut tree hut (I would suggest Papillon resort) about £5 a night - They are on facebook. Lady from Staffordshire owns it with her Indian husband (Nice couple)

PS You wont go hungry down there.

    I'm there in March WHOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!

  • Goa is nothing like Gambia, which is a real pain. Even with my husband in Gambia we couldn't get a minute's peace and were continually followed. Goa is just fab but I wouldn't go ai I used to buy a prawn curry for £1-2 . I could go on and on you will love it.
