Pointing (bricks)

It was very stormy here yesterday and the wind took out some (already) loose pointing,it's on a corner edge and it's only about six bricks and is near the roof.
How much do you think I should be agreeing to pay.
OH had a look with binoculars and said everything else is ok.

Is it something you or your OH could do yourself, I wouldnt attempt a large area, but to do six bricks wouldnt be to difficult.
I think any price you get will seem expensive, if you get a company to do the work. Do you know anyone who can do it as a hobble?

Ring some local builders for a quote, you can't tell just from looking through binoculars if the rest is sound, they will give you and idea of the area that needs repointing and it will probably be as cheap to get a large area done by a reputable firm than it would be to get those few bricks pointed by bob the builder.
