Hi,
Our kitchen has been plastered (and is dry) we have sealed half of it with plastersealer but have ran out, but I see here that diluted matt emulsion is just as good. Does it matter what brand I use for example is B&Q value range OK or would dulux be better?
One more thing do I dilute it 30% or 50% there seems to be some debate?
Many thanks for any suggestions

simply, use the cheapest you can get! i use wilko's cheapest white emulsion not watered down and get good results with that. it doubles as sealer/first coat for any following colour.I am a building surveyor and will provide advice based upon what you tell me. It is just that, advice and not instructions. Based on the fact you're getting it for free expect it to be vague!

I'm in scotland, I don't we have that store here but I'm guessing whatever cheapest at B&Q or homebase will do!0

I would avoid their basic/value own brand as its really thin to start with. We did ours with Dulux which was on offer at the time and it was fie.0
