does a cat d need a mot
I have just bought myself a golf 1.4 tsi. 06 reg with minor frontal damage, and it is a cat D. I was wondering as the car is not older than 3 years does it actually need a MOT.
From experience as far as i know if the car is a Cat C then it will need a MOT but im not too sure about a cat D. Also if its a cat C u will need a VIC check which u dont with a Cat D. Im thinking of consulting my local police station about this as well but i was thinking a few of u guys maybe in the trade of buying repairing and then selling on.
Thanks for any help in advance

No, neither will the CatC but the Cat C will require to be verified as roadworthy.0

Your local police station should be dealing with crimes, not dishing out free advice.
Nothing special about a cat d's (or c) mot - just needs one when old enough.0 -
