FIRE Safety at Christmas

Given the interest in Christmas lights I though it might be helpful to point you all towards some good safety information.
Amongst other things I am qualified to test portable electrical appliances (PAT tester) it never ceases to amaze me how many people don't know (or care) about the fuses they use in their appliances - I have replaced HUNDREDS of wrong fuses in appliances - usually 13amp for the correct 3 or 5 Amp.

I would hate the same to be happening with your Christmas Lights

This site sets out nice and clearly with good graphics the what and why of safety:

Safe and Merry Christmas to you all:xmassign:
