Thats what I mean, there are loads of them (2 folders full) so which one is the actual icon I need to change my settings? I can usually tell by name, but none of them seem to be the right one. I had to go and search for the set up file, I did that then restarted my computer for 'the changed to take effect' then I went back in and couldnt see any changes, or a way to make some!0 -
I just found mine in printers and other hardware, mouse, in control panel.
Icon to look for in the system tray,
Ive had a look in programfiles and cant find the Icon shortcut.0 -
Thanks for that. I posted about that same problem yesterday in the thread “Fujitsu-Siemens laptops, any good ?” Having read your post I checked the synaptics icon and it was set to Tap to click.
Lally, if you can’t see the icon in the system tray go to control panel and click the mouse icon / Device Settings. The enable tapping and other options should be available there.0 -
I sorted it, thank you both! I am not very good with computers and like that I can ask questions on here and not get laughed at, so thank you again0
