gas central heating service quote

our pilot light on our boiler keeps going out, the system seems to work fine and heats up the house but as soon as it reaches its temperature and stops burning the pilot goes out.
Ive had a quote for a service AT £58.75 does this sound about right (im in norfolk if that makes a difference)

We charge exactly that price for a boiler service in Essex. £50 +vat = £58.75.0

Yes, I've just had mine done today (Sheffield) and it cost £55 call out/Service + £12 parts. Seems ok to me

Sounds reasonable to me..though if there are things wrong then i expect its going to cost a bit more than that. Last year we paid £50 but that was a reduced price because the boiler was still under warranty. Now it's not under warranty i'm being quoted £70 upto nearly £100 for a service by the manufacturer (vaillant). I doubt you'll get a service for much cheaper than you've been quoted for.
