A new collection of Tyneside photos has been published, chosen by Sir Bobby Robson and with accompanying text describing why those images symbolise "my kind of Toon" for him.

When Sir Bobby took over as Newcastle Manager in September 1999, the club had played one game since the departure of Ruud Gullit - a 1-5 defeat to Manchester United. Who had been the Magpies' caretaker boss at Old Trafford that day?
